EMG Dual Mode Switch Kit The DMSK uses a series capacitor to cut the low frequency of a pickup, simulating a single coil sound. This technique helps maintain the output of the pickup throughout the rest of the frequency response range. The tone of the low frequency response can be tailored to your requirements through the ability to choose different capacitor values. EMG-60-7 Humbucker Pickup The EMG-60-7 is a seven string pickup for guitar. The pickup is housed in our 35 Extended bass housing, so it's not a direct replacement for a humbucking pickup. The EMG-60-7 has the familiar close aperture coils loaded with ceramic magnets for the brightest attack of any of our many humbucking models, this pickup also packs plenty of output with both clarity and cut through high end. Like the popular EMG-60 , the 60-7 is a dual coil pickup with close aperture coils similar to the 60, with the same amount of output and all the attributes of the EMG-60, but for your seven string guitar. EMG-707 Humbucker Pickup The EMG-707 is similar to the EMG-85, only for 7-string guitars. Like the 85 the 707 uses two Alnico magnet loaded coils weth a wide aperature to maintain a beefy low-end and a fatter top end. Perfect for a low B. It's a great choice for a chunky rhythm pickup in combination with an 81-7 in the bridge, just pure Alnico magnets do the trick.
