BLISS SERIES - are new cymbals made with ancient traditions. Each one is an individual work of art, painstakingly hand-forged and hand-hammered. They have a warmth that seduces at low volume and thunders with a froth of dark undertones at more extreme volumes. Bliss cymbals have micro-lathed surfaces with a low bridge, small but clear bells and are quite thin by modern standards. They are exceptionally resilient and slightly soft on the stick. The undertones are warm, rich, dark with an edge of dragon's breath. Each one is a unique, complex voice that will excite your imagination. •Surface: multiple micro-lathing by hand • Bow: low, gentle bridge • Bell: small, but articulate and clear • Weight: thin, but evenly distributed across the whole cymbal • Hammering: hand-hammered and tuned, before and after lathing • Stick sound: woody but articulate, round attack • Wash: well balanced, quick decay with spectrum-wide undertones
